Symphonic metal band, Awaken Solace, are releasing their fantasy concept album MYTHANDRIEL at Brightside, Brisbane on Friday 7 July.
Joining Awaken Solace on stage are guest instrumentalists, Bernard Houston, on the flute and Valhalore’s, Lachlan Neate, on the cello. The night will also feature epic sets by Sydney’s Rise of Avernus and local favourites Seraphic, Darklore & Devonian.
Awaken Solace first hit the stage in 2012 simultaneously with the release of their debut album ‘In Nightfall’s Embrace’, which claimed them a large international following, distribution through Green Media | MGM and supports for major symphonic metal acts Apocalyptica (FIN) and Kamelot (USA, GER, SWE). The band later took a hiatus from the live stage to write and record the new album, returning late last year with a run of prestigious shows including opening for Apocalyptica (FIN) and Queensrÿche (USA), and an appearance at Sydney’s Steel Assassins Metal Festival.
