After sold out shows across Europe, winning Best UK Breakthrough Act at the Heavy Music Awards, festival appearances at Download Festival, Slam Dunk, 2000 Trees, Rock For People and support tours with Bowling For Soup and Hot Milk, As December Falls are taking over 2023 with their highly anticipated third album, Join The Club. Despite having no label or management, the band achieved their first top 20 UK album at number 11 in the Official Album Charts and number 1 in the Official Rock and Metal charts.
Singer Bethany Hunter explains the story behind lead single Carousel: “Have you ever seen two people that are just terrible for each other? You’re standing on the outside powerless to help as they go through the same vicious cycle again and again. Carousel is about the ups and downs of a toxic relationship and falling in love with hating each other just so you can fall in love all over again. You end up in a bad cycle that leaves you feeling dizzy and like you are on a carousel going round and round, but you just can’t see how unhealthy it is for you.”
