ARSE kick off 2024 with a new single, Shame Bomb.
A highlight of the band’s live show for almost two years, the track RAGES against a country hell-bent on annihilating itself in the name of so-called progress. Shame Bomb is the second single from the Sydney trio’s forthcoming EP Kaputt., out February 23 via Grupo Records.
“Midnight Oil already basically wrote this song 30 years ago, but we haven’t progressed at all,” says vocalist Dan Cunningham. “Rio Tinto continues to wreck millennia-old sites in Western Australia and all they have to say is ‘whoops, sorry’. It’s like domestic terrorism, but Australia says it’s legal.”
