Arm’s Length have released the final single leading up to their new album. The Weight is available now to stream and the official music video for the song can be seen below. The song is taken from There’s A Whole New World Out There, the band’s highly anticipated sophomore album out May 16 via Pure Noise Records.
The Weight is a song written primarily about eating disorders and specifically relating the feeling of wanting to be physically small with longing to be insignificant in the grand scheme of the world. “Sometimes I want to be so small I disappear, and I think people can relate to that,” says vocalist and guitarist Allen Steinberg of the new song.
