In a move that could be straight from George Orwell’s 1984, Apple have been granted a patent on technology that uses infrared signals to prevent your iPhone from taking pictures or video at gigs. The tech giant originally first applied for the patent five years ago and it was granted this week by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
