Thailand-based metalcore outfit Annalynn return with their new single BIOS, out now via Greyscale Records. A crushing reintroduction to the band’s next chapter, BIOS explores the journey of the human soul from beginning to end, and the search for the meaning of existence. Rather than framing pain, uncertainty, and disappointment as obstacles, the track positions them as catalysts for growth.
Through visceral lyrics and a gloomy atmosphere, BIOS encourages listeners to confront fear, accept life’s inevitable hardships and continue moving forward. “Our band is starting to reset and work through the challenges caused by the unexpected bad news that many of you may know,” they said. “We have now come to a definitive conclusion by having Pob, our guitarist, take over as the full-time vocalist. Even though there are now only 4 of us, we will continue to move forward to reach our original goals.”
