Thailand-based metalcore outfit Annalynn share their new single Disappear after becoming the latest act to join the Greyscale Records roster. Annalynn will make their debut in Australia in August supporting Void Of Vision on the Das Ende Australian Tour presented by Destroy All Lines.
Disappear is Annalynn’s first release in over two years and showcases the quintet at their strongest. Chaotic instrumentation leads the single to a triumphant chorus that balances soaring cleans with a heavy backbone. Disappear sees Annalynn lean into new territory and experiment with new vocal dynamics that set the tone for future releases.
The new track explores solemn themes, contemplating getting lost in ones darker thoughts, feeling the lows and sinking into them. Vocalist Bon explains: “Disappear is all about getting stuck in our thoughts when we feel down – If I can’t get better, sometimes I just wish everything around me would get darker so I can let myself disappear in the darkness.”
