Adelaide alternative metal quintet alt. today share their dark new concept EP, Nevermore, out today via Resist Records (AU) and SharpTone Records (ROW). The band will celebrate the release with a hometown launch show at Lion Arts Factory on Saturday June 20.
Set in 2073, Nevermore unfolds in a world ravaged by war, corruption and greed. As the wealthy flee a dying Earth, the rest are left to fight for survival and a chance to reach the promised new world of Nephilim. But beneath its surface lies the same darkness that destroyed the old world, pushing the story’s unnamed protagonist toward revolution in a bid to break humanity’s destructive cycle.
