(ALL GOOD) THINGS Come To Those Who Wait

After the phenomenal independent success of their song “For The Glory” – which amassed over 100 million hits – LA-based rock outfit All Good Things suddenly found the labels knocking, realizing the obvious drawing power of such a talented group of musicians.

The decision was made to sign with Better Noise Records who brought fellow anthemic rockers the Hollywood Undead members Johnny 3 Tears and Charlie Scene to the table and the two powerhouses joined forced to re-release the song to yet another rousing reception.

The band joined HEAVY last week for a chat about their meteoric rise and what the future holds, starting with why the band decided to re-release a song that had already made an impact around the world.

“We have operated as an independent band for the last few years,” guitarist Andrew Bojanic explained, “and after releasing our album Machines we got lucky and used on a bunch of film and TV around the world and then slowly fans started picking it up and making videos online and sharing the song. We were looking one day and it was like oh shit, there’s 100 million views on all these videos (laughs). We wanted to get the band out touring and get exposed a little more so we ended up signing a deal with the guys at Better Noise Records and we’d never gone through radio or promoted “For The Glory”, it just seemed to become an anthem for people so the labels thought all these people love this song, we should give it a big go and try and take it out to the rest of the world. They connected us with the Hollywood Undead guys and we all loved what those guys have done for years. We often found that a lot of their fan base actually seems to find us I guess because we both do anthemic rock. They decided to re-release “For The Glory” and get the guys in there, we tweaked the tracks a bit so here we are…”

Straight after this Andrew was joined by vocalist Dan Murphy and bass player Liz Hooper, with the three of them completing the chat which includes plans for a full album, having “For The Glory” included on the soundtrack to new movie The Retaliators, how All Good Things managed to crack the market and more.
