Aerosmith added to Stone Music Festival

Share This:

Aerosmith have been confirmed as the final act for the inaugural Stone Music Festival at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on April 20 and 21, joining  headline act Van Halen on the main stage on the Saturday night.

Both bands will be playing 90 minute sets.  The original Sydney concert date for Aerosmith for Sunday April 28 has been cancelled, and the Stone Music Festival appearance replaces this gig.  Ticket holders for the original concert will be able to access tickets for the Saturday night of the Festival.    Aerosmith have also announced a second Melbourne concert for the Myer Music Bowl on Sunday April 28.

The Stone Music Festival is a new Sydney-based Hard Rock festival, intended to link in with the annual ANZAC day holiday.  The 37 bands appearing on the two stage/two day festival include international acts such as Van Halen, Aerosmith, and  Billy Joel, along with Australian acts such as Jimmy Barnes, Noiseworks, Icehouse and Choirboys.  Also appearing are “Kings Of Chaos”, yet another ‘supergroup’ featuring members such as Duff McKagan, Joe Elliot, Glenn Hughes and Sebastian Bach.
