Machine Head announced today that founding member, bassist Adam Duce has decided to leave the band.

Adam and vocalist Robb Flynn started the band back in 1991 and Duce feels the time has come to pursue other projects. From all reports coming from Machine Head HQ, the decision is amicable and his bandmates wish him well. For now, Machine Head continue as a three piece until a replacement is found and are focusing on their follow up release from 2011’s ‘Unto the Locust’. The new album is expected to be out by year’s end.

The band made the announcement via their Facebook page.
