Canberra based metalcore outfit A World In Colour are back with the release of their emotive new single In The Blue.
The band have also announced that they will be sharing the stage with industry heavyweights Unearth on Jan 24 at The Basement, Canberra.
“In The Blue is a song about losing someone but being trapped by the memory of them,” the band said. “Sometimes memories of someone you’ve lost can be beautiful and meaningful but we wanted to explore the darker/sadder side of being haunted by memories that you can’t escape and feeling overwhelmed that it becomes hard to remember the good that person brought to your life.”
A World In Colour blasted onto the scene in late 2021 with their single Descent – an attack on the government’s lack of interest in protecting the country and its people during the 2020 bushfire crisis. The band then followed-up in 2022 with the release of their hard-hitting single called Break Me.
