For gamers of my generation, the Crash Bandicoot series was a favourite growing up. You run. You spin. You jump on boxes. But Crash was so much more than the sum of its parts. Naughty Dog stood out as a developer for creating fun, colourful experiences and mascots with polished systems – and continue to do so today, with the Uncharted series.
Sometimes, however, the basics are the best. This is what Vicarious Visions hopes to recapture with the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a remaster of the first three games: Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped!. The remastered versions contain new and improved graphics, animations, and effects to suit a modern, high-power console – the fun of the original games refreshed for a new generation.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy launches for the Playstation 4 on June 30th.
