Southern California deathcore titans CARNIFEX have released their new single, Licking Love From A Knife. The track is the latest to be taken from the band’s forthcoming album, More Than Misery, arriving November 6 via Sumerian Records.
Licking Love From A Knife places one of the album’s most personal subjects at its centre: surviving a toxic relationship. Across More Than Misery, vocalist Scott Ian Lewis writes from the perspective of someone who has come through the pain that has always shaped his lyrics. The new single brings that changed perspective into the fallout of a damaging relationship, speaking directly to those who know what it means to make it out.
