Counter Intuitive artist and modern day emo powerhouse Leisure Hour have today released their full length record …that one day. The new album is the second instalment of Leisure Hour’s …and to think trilogy, out everywhere now via Counter Intuitive Records/Civilians.
Over the past 18 months, Leisure Hour has become a household name within the emo community, first getting attention on TikTok. The Muncie, Indiana variety emo band has quickly gained a reputation in the scene through their ambition, drive, and dedication to their community of fans, affectionately known as Baddies. Dropping just eight months after the release of their …and to think album in January, …that one day presents a flip side to that record’s ruminations on trauma, grief, anger, and regret. Leaning into the energetic and upbeat side of their sound, with the band saying: “…that one day is fun and fast, but still sad as hell, which, at the end of the day, is who we are, and who our Baddies are”.
