Waxstar Touring is excited to announce that New York post-hardcore legends Quicksand return to Australia in February 2027, joined across all three shows by Atlanta noise-rock heavyweights Whores. Following their long-awaited return to Australia in 2023, Quicksand return in 2027 following the release of their new album Bring on the Psychics.
Formed in New York City in 1990, Quicksand emerged from the city’s hardcore scene before carving out a sound entirely their own. Landmark albums Slip and Manic Compression helped define their distinctive collision of crushing guitars, melody and atmosphere, influencing generations of alternative, post-hardcore and heavy music. Joining Quicksand across all three Australian shows are Whores. Known for punishing riffs, abrasive intensity and ferocious live shows, the Atlanta trio return to Australia for the first time since touring Australia and New Zealand in 2022.
