Voodoo Highway formed in Ferrara, Italy, in 2010, bringing back the spirit of classic ’70s and ’80s hard rock with heavy riffs, Hammond organ, and melodic vocals. Their debut album, Broken Uncle’s Inn (2011), quickly gained international press attention and led the band to perform across several European countries.
After a seven-year hiatus, the band reunited in June 2025 at the RockaFe Festival in Ferrara, recording the concert that has now been released as their first live album: Made in Kachot, released on October 24, 2025. In 2026, Voodoo Highway returned to the studio with producer Eddy Cavazza (Logan Mader, John Wetton, Fear Factory) and Samuele Grandi to work on their fourth studio album, scheduled for release in autumn 2026 via Pride & Joy Music.
The recording, mixing, and mastering sessions were completed in May 2026, marking the definitive start of a new chapter for the band. Between July and August 2026, Voodoo Highway unveiled the album title, artwork, and the first singles taken from the new record, leading up to the full release in the fall.
