Lyrically, Halo plays in the dangerous space between salvation and self-destruction, twisting religious imagery, guilt, excess and defiance into something darkly playful and unmistakably Hardcore Superstar. The result is equal parts confession, provocation and pure rock ’n’ roll release. Written by Damir Vic Zino Mujezinovic, Joakim Berggren, Martin Sandvik and Efraim Larsson, Halo arrives as the band prepare for their extensive Dirty Halo Tour, beginning October 2 in Malmö before moving through Sweden, Finland and Estonia.
The single also offers a first glimpse of the next chapter following acclaimed album Abrakadabra, with the band currently at work on new material and new drummer Efraim Larsson now firmly in the fold.
