Denver power metal storytellers SIEGE PERILOUS have dropped their debut concept record Becoming The Dragon, released on March 27 via Crunchtronic Records.
The record features guest performances from two major voices in modern power metal, Fabio Lione (Rhapsody, Angra) on As the Dragon Falls, and Kristin Starkey (Twilight Force, Temperance) on the power ballad Echoes of Home.
A sweeping ten-chapter concept record, Becoming the Dragon follows the Child of Prophecy through destiny, denial, destruction, and ultimately transcendence. The album blends classic heavy metal roots with modern symphonic power metal, drawing influence from Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Iron Maiden, Avantasia, and Sabaton.
