One of Europe’s most dedicated underground death metal festivals is back – and bigger than ever. DEATHFEAST OPEN AIR 2026 will take place from August 20-22, 2026 at JUZ Andernach, Germany, bringing together 33 bands from 18 countries for three days of uncompromising brutality.
The 2026 edition delivers a carefully curated lineup spanning the full spectrum of extreme music, from brutal death metal and slam to technical death metal, goregrind and deathcore. Headliners include US technical death metal veterans Revocation, brutal death metal legends Internal Bleeding, and deathcore heavyweights Signs of the Swarm.
DEATHFEAST 2026 also doubles down on global underground representation. The bill stretches across Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa, with a landmark triple billing from Indonesia’s legendary scene: Deadsquad, Jasad, and Death Vomit. The international roster also includes South Africa’s Vulvodynia, Colombia’s Internal Suffering, and Cerebral Incubation from Las Vegas for an exclusive EU show.
