Fourteen years is a fair old stint for any band, especially in the DIY scene, but Atlanta’s self-described “drinking band with a punk problem” Forsaken Profits are still going strong.
To mark the occasion, the thrash-punk veterans have just unleashed a brand new single, Decayed. The track, which is out now, serves as the first taste of their upcoming full-length album due later in 2026. If you’re a fan of high-velocity skate-thrash, this one is right up your street.
It’s got that technical precision of the 80s thrash giants but with the raw, unpolished aggression of underground hardcore. It’s fast, it’s heavy, and it’s a bit of a sonic middle finger to the status quo. The band have also confirmed that the new record will be hitting the shelves on vinyl this April.
