Australia’s favourite beer-fuelled legends Cosmic Psychos are back with their twelfth studio album, I Really Like Beer, lining up for a tour show and repeat blowout of their 2025 venue show at Gold Coast’s Mo’s Desert Clubhouse this Friday night.
To mark the album release, the band is heading off on their most ridiculous tour yet. 42 regional dates right across Australia, which kicked off in early November and charges into 2026. RSLs, pubs, halls and hard-earned beers with the local townsfolk.
The Psychos will be joined on drums by none other than Dan Peters (Mudhoney, Nirvana) for the first leg and that young whippersnapper BC from Dune Rats on the second stretch. One tour. Two drummers. No downtime. We dare you to find a more extensive tour in Aussie Rock history.
“We made a record about beer, so now we’re going to play it in as many pubs as possible. Simple.” says Knight.
The Cosmic Psychos have survived the passing decades, musical trends and fashions with ease. Most fans will tell you they’re simple blokes (you can trust), just making straight-ahead, good-fun, Australian influenced punk rock.
