Munky Pride is a grassroots festival that has grown to become a cornerstone of Latvia’s underground music scene. Since its unofficial beginnings, it has been a haven for fans of extreme and alternative music, offering a raw, unfiltered celebration of art, energy, and individuality.
The 2025 edition, from July 17 to 20, will feature performances from 32+ artists, covering an eclectic mix of genres, including: Punk/Ska, Grindcore/Thrash, Goregrind/Brutal Slam Metal, Powerviolence/Crust, Technical Death Metal/Brutal Death Metal. These acts will bring together talent from across Europe, Asia and the USA, creating a truly international line up. The festival is known for its ability to book a mix of emerging artists and cult favourites, ensuring something fresh every year.
