Following their previously announced appearance at Hobart’s Dark Mofo, enigmatic alt-jazz duo Clown Core today announce their debut Australian tour this June, presented by Handsome Tours. Taking their live show across the country, pre-sale begins today at 1pm local, with general on-sale from tomorrow, Thursday Apr 17 at 1pm local.
An anonymous duo hailing from Nevada (USA), Clown Core are an experimental and mysterious cult act known for their breakneck fusion of jazz, extreme metal and absurdist mayhem. Known for their cryptic online presence, their 2008 debut Surreal Cereal quickly established them as a band that twists experimental arrangements into their own and “defies categorisation” (New Noise Magazine).
Although a seemingly rare act to catch live, Clown Core have brought their captivating live show to global stages including Coachella and soon, to Hobart’s Dark Mofo alongside headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth this June.
