Better Noise Music, home to bands including Five Finger Death Punch, The HU, Dirty Heads, NOTHING MORE, Bad Wolves, Asking Alexandria and many more, have released their latest edition of The NOISE, a monthly trailer highlighting the label’s newest music. This month, the trailer features:
SOLENCE
Electronic metal group SOLENCE’s main goal is to bring the “fun” back to rock & roll by lifting audiences up with their high-energy performances and relatable lyrics. “Most of us in life struggle with insecurity, past trauma, or things we’re in now when we feel stuck, depressed, and down. Many bands describe those feelings, but we want to help people get out of them to make them feel stronger,” shares frontman Markus Videsäter.
SOLENCE were ready to help combat the world’s ‘most depressing day of the year’ aka Blue Monday (January 20) with the release of their new EP, BLUE MONDAY. It features three of their new tracks: Fk The Bad Vibes, A Banger A Day Keeps The Doctor Away, and Who You Gonna Call? (Solence), which Houston Chronicle highlighted in their “Top 50 Best Underground Music Videos of 2024” list. It also includes two remixed versions of their hit track, Good Fking Music by Swedish-based producer MVRE and LA-based producer kodeblooded (Asking Alexandria, Charlotte Sands).
“We wanted to do something fun instead of feeling blue this holiday, so we asked MVRE and Kodeblooded to take care of it,” says the band collectively. “It’s so fun to hear ‘Good F**king Music’ in a new light, and the guys crushed it!

CROSSBONE SKULLY
CROSSBONE SKULLY unleashed their debut album EVIL WORLD MACHINE which brought the legendary Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard) out of retirement to executive produce the project. The rock concept album echoes similar dystopian visions such as David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and Diamond Dogs and its story will be expanded in a forthcoming graphic novel and animated film, Thing #1, due in 2025.
“Let’s Bust The Trust spits in the face of a broken currency, torching the lies of the elite, and screaming for a world where people over profit hold the power to turn it all around! Lives Over Loot!” says frontman Tommy Henriksen.
“I’ve based this album on my heroes – AC/DC, Queen, The Who, but also The Cars and Kraftwerk,” Henriksen continues “Mutt called and told me he thought there was something there. I started crying like a baby, it was like Jesus coming back and anointing you!” he says. “Mutt has taken these songs to a whole other level. Now, I don’t mind what else happens with this record.”

THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT
THE FUNERAL PORTRAIT celebrated their anniversary by thanking fans old and new with an updated version of their breakout fan-favourite 2014 track Casanova (C’est La Vie).
“‘Casanova (From Beyond The Abyss)’ is us tipping our hat to the fans that have been with us throughout the 10 years of us being a band, while also acknowledging how far we’ve come and how much we’ve changed,” proclaims frontman LEE JENNINGS. “We reimagined the song to sound like it was meant to be on our recent album Greetings From Suffocate City all along, while not losing the essence of what the OG fans love about it. We are so thankful to everyone who has stayed with us all this time, this one is for them.”
