Gold Coast rock beasts Goatzilla have released a rock n roll monster as the final single taken from their 2024 debut album. Full of swagger and attitude, Black Dog Blues is a fist pumping Aussie rock anthem to rival the classics.
Black Dog Blues is an angry, riff-driven, bluesy rocker, the story of a life run off the tracks by the demon alcohol.
“Everyone I know, knows more than one person who’s lost it all to booze” says frontman Ben Zilla about Goatzilla’s latest single. “This is for everyone who’s tried to help someone who’s gone off the rails – theres the anger at a life wasted, as well as the pain of losing someone you care about to the bottle. It’s a warning, really, and hopefully a reminder that it’s never too late to get help and stop.”
