REDHOOK Launch New Track ‘Bomb.com’, Announce Album Themed Launch Parties

Share This:

Eora/Sydney heavy alt-rock powerhouses RedHook today flip the switch on their volatile new cut, Bomb.com, produced by Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic) and mixed by James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore). It is the latest single off their forthcoming sophomore record Mutation which is out Friday, November 22.

Dripping with maniacal sass and purpose-built for the pit, Bomb.com is a snarling nu metal-meets-hardcore rager with electro-hop undertones that sees frontwoman Emmy Mack spit fiery Nicki Minaj-esque rap bars aimed at an unnamed misogynist.

Emmy explains: “‘Bomb.com’ is basically just a big fun diss track about an egomaniacal dude in the music industry who likes to talk a lot of shit, particularly about female-fronted bands. Lame AF behaviour that we felt compelled to take the living piss out of. Craig also added these really sick synths for extra hype that were inspired by that song ‘Like A G6’. This one’s gonna be so much fun to play live!”

To coincide with the release, RedHook have announced a trio of East Coast album launch parties in Naarm/Melbourne, Meanjin/Brisbane and Eora/Sydney, taking place during album release week. The mutant party will kick off at Stay Gold on Wednesday, November 20, before heading to the newly revived The Zoo on Thursday, November 21, and wrapping up at Crowbar on Friday, November 22. Each party will be themed based on a different song off the Mutation LP, with RedHook treating their fans to free entry, a live acoustic performance, Q&A session, exclusive merch, photos & signings, themed beverages, and a prize for “best dressed”. Emmy adds, “We can’t wait to celebrate this album with the people we made it for! Join us for a mutant party for the history books!”
