After four years between albums, new music has finally emerged from metal outfit Righteous Death. Former sole member Jackson Marshall has teamed up with new vocalist Johnny Crypt who features on every track on the new album II (out December 23) which has taken Righteous Death from a one-man metal band to a proper studio band.
Their new single Born Again Fools – due out this Halloween shines a new light on the Righteous Death sound which takes the music out of the Black Metal realm and into another dimension with elements of slam and death metal.
Overall, the new album features tracks throughout that cross over multiple subgenres within the metal realm.
“I’m beyond excited to bring everyone this long overdue album,” Marshall almost apologised. “I think metal fans will get a kick out of all the new tracks we have perfected, plus the one-off tribute to Ozzy and Randy Rhoads with a tuned downed cover of Mr. Crowley.“
