Across three East Coast dates, this year’s Good Things Festival will deliver a trip down the rabbit hole with a stacked bill of international heavyweights, old favourites, hungry up-and-comers, and Aussie staples. And in a boon for younger attendees, Sydney’s Centennial Park festival date will be a 16+ event for the first time!

Originally hailing from Dingley in Melbourne, Australia, Jet quickly conquered the world after forming in 2001, selling more than 6.5 million albums globally and securing almost 10 x Platinum certification in Australia and Platinum in the USA and UK for their 2003 debut album Get Born. The album produced a string of classic singles with Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Rollover DJ, and Look What You’ve Done and netted the band 6 x 2004 ARIA awards. Both Are You Gonna Be My Girl and Cold Hard Bitch peaked at number 1 on the US Modern Rock singles charts and propelled the band to the top of festival bills and charts around the world.
2023 marked 20 years since the release of their debut album Get Born. To celebrate Jet embarked on their first band shows in 5 years, playing Get Born in full, re-visiting the incredible tracklist that won them fans right across the world – including timeless tracks such as Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Look What You’ve Done, Rollover DJ and Get Me Outta Here. Songs that sound as invigorating today as they did 20 years ago.
Reflecting on the album, Nic Cester said, ‘Get Born was a rare and unique moment of total planetary alignment where we somehow managed to capture lighting in a bottle.’
