MISERY

In 1991, a foul presence rose from the earth in Queensland, Australia, and formed into the Death Metal juggernaut known as MISERY. Their 1992 offering Sorting Of The Insects was a rancid demo that foretold of greater things to come, and in 1993 their debut full-length A Necessary Evil was shat upon the world.

News of this dastardly creation spread far and wide, with Australian and International audiences alike pulled under the spell of this now Cult release. Another demo and an EP followed, the latter featuring the vocal exploits of earth walking demon Moises Contreras, though this union was short-lived.

In 1997 their follow-up to A.N.E was Revel In Blasphemy, a cataclysmic slab of unearthly horror, bulldozing the ears of an unprepared public. Three years beyond saw Curses, the bands third full length, and shortly after the band began to be seen less in live form.

2007 was the final release from this mighty act, titled On Demon Wings, and was hailed as a worthy entry into the Misery catalogue. Soon after the band expired, as a core member left this land, and 10 years of silence ensued.

In 2017, soon after the return of the deserter, the band crawled out of their revolting graves and the echoes of Death Metal depravity once again resonated from the beast known as MISERY.

PUSTILENCE

Hailing from Brisbane, Pustilence emerged on the metal scene in 2018, quickly making a name for themselves with their brutal and intense sound. After releasing a well-received demo in 2020, the band solidified their reputation with a full-length album in 2023, showcasing their ability to blend ferocious energy with technical precision.

Pustilence has gained significant momentum by supporting renowned international acts such as Skeletal Remains, Exhumed, Vader, and I Am Morbid. Their prowess on stage has earned them a spot supporting heavyweights Rotting Christ and Jungle Rot on their Australian tours in May. This band is quickly becoming a staple in the Brisbane metal scene and beyond, with their sights set on dominating stages and earbuds around the world.
