Melbourne’s Greystone Canyon have released their second album Iron & Oak, which is the follow-up to their highly praised debut While the Wheels Still Turn.
While the Wheels Still Turn was crowned best debut album of 2018 by the Hard Rock Show and also received rave reviews from independent music press globally.
The follow-up has been 6 years in the making. Covid didn’t help… but it’s finally here. Mixing classic rock, heavy rock and elements of traditional heavy metal from the 70s, 80s and 90s Greystone Canyon blend the flavours of Ozzy Osbourne, Led Zeppelin and Megadeth with each song having its own identity while remaining part of the family tree. With a love for themes of the Wild West and classic rock, the album has an honest and earthy feel, with lyrics ranging from heartfelt personal experiences to historical tales and folklore legend.
