QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Announce Benefit Performance For HOBART HOSPITAL CHILDREN’S SERVICES

Mona Foma and Queens of the Stone Age have announced a unique and intimate benefit performance at Mona’s Nolan Gallery on Thursday, February 15 in addition to the now sold-out performance on the lawns.

All proceeds will be split evenly between Royal Hobart Hospital Children’s Services and 24 Carrot Gardens, with additional fees for all tickets purchased to the benefit performance waived.

Ticket holders will also receive an exclusive show poster to commemorate this special performance.

Tickets on sale now from monafoma.net.au

Speaking of the importance of children’s charities and the benefit performance, Queens of the Stone Age lead singer Josh Homme says: ‘I’m a father of three, that’s my favourite thing in the world. As you travel around, I see a lot of really nice places, but I see a lot of dark places too. You’re only a kid once, you’re an adult your whole life… I also want to play acoustically. I love to play Mona. It’s a chance to do something nice and this is a situation where it’s very simple to do something nice.’
