Rock solo artist John DeMena has released a cover of The Doors classic People Are Strange, along with a music video for the track.
The LA-based DeMena’s homage to the 1967 classic is part of a compilation series honouring music from artists including The Doors, Talking Heads, and Warren Zevon, which will be released via Rhino Entertainment.
Speaking about the cover, DeMena comments: “I wanted to pay tribute to this timeless classic with a cover that stayed true to the essence and soul of the original while also taking the song through different sonic landscapes.”
