Following their inception in 2019, Across the Vine (Ocean Grove-based heavy rock/ synth duo) are preparing to launch their debut album titled +1 on March 11, with their innovative yet retro sounds making waves on the surf coast music scene.
With a powerful and driving sound, and edgy but harmonious vocals, Across the Vine is shaping up to be a force to be reckoned with and the likes of which Geelong and the Surf Coast has not seen for some time. Influences are particularly eclectic and include a wide range from the Police to INXS and Metallica to Rammstein.
With decades of shared musical and performing experience, the pairing of Nic Rouse and Andy Vickers has delivered a commercially viable sound, but with an uncompromising and solid heavy crunch.
