The Plot In You have shared the video for their newest single Left Behind.
The song is gorgeously mercurial — shifting from upbeat to pensive to ballistic — and it nods to some sonic inspirations. It’s also lyrically introspective, as is expected from the band.
“Left Behind was inspired by old nostalgic bands and artists I grew up listening to,” says vocalist Landon Tewers. “I wanted to make something as a tribute to that sound and hopefully elevate it. It’s a song about gaining back confidence and hope after cutting off a person that was draining and moving forward with a fresh perspective.”
The Plot In You will return to the road in April and May on the headline Watch the Divide tour with Holding Absence, Thornhill, and Banks Arcade in tow. The tour kicks off on April 7 in New Haven, CT and runs through May 13 in Cincinnati in North America.
