Geoff Tate was back in town last night with a young, enthusiastic band at his back.
Fast forward to the end; cheers and screams for, “More, one more, more, one more” as the legendary Geoff Tate and band completed “Walk In the Shadows”, a Queensryche classic.
Followed by more, “We want more, we want more, we want more…”
“How far back you wanna go?” Tate questioned the eager crowd.
… “Queen Of The Riche”… say no more.
All this excitement followed ’86’s “Rage For Order” in full and the mind-numbing stable of any classic heavy metal fan, “Empire” in its entirety.
If you’re a Queensryche fan, put the idea that the rest of the band isn’t with him, put aside the rumours, and see this show. It’s a great show fronted by one of the best singers of heavy metal music has ever seen.
I wanted more. I still want more.
