The latest release, Lustful Sacraments represents James Kent‘s most mature work to date, merging the dark synthesized tones that made PERTUBATOR a household name with classic post-punk, goth, and heavy techno rhythms. The album weaves PERTUBATOR ‘s classic cinematic atmosphere with thundering drums, subtle electronic melodies and in-your-face guitar hooks.
A suitable addition to the audible foray is USA ‘slasherwave’ artist GOST. Appearing for the first time in Australia, GOST’s music bridges the pit and the dancefloor, draping doom-laden occult imagery atop pulsing beats and blackened soundscapes.
