Progressive metal outfit TAKING BALFOUR are streaming a lyric video from their new single Awakening. The song is taken from their upcoming album Dawn of Polaris, due out on October 21, 2022.
The band comments. “Awakening was one of the last songs that was written for Dawn of Polaris. As we started writing this song, almost immediately I knew the direction I wanted it to go, especially when it came to the theme and lyrics. Awakening is based off a question we have asked ourselves from the beginning of time; are we alone in this universe? Throughout history this topic has been heavily debated and recorded through art, literature, sightings, and has been a controversial topic for decades. Will we ever have the answer? Do you believe? Whatever your thoughts may be, it’s definitely one of the great mysteries of this world and universe we live in.”
