Melbourne metal outfit To Octavia have returned with their latest single “The Sound Of The Rain”, a punchier and more dynamic release to what fans of the band have come to expect.
A shift in the band’s line-up and time away from music has left the young band hungry for more success, with vocalist Merry Kirk-Holmes and guitarist Justin Keurntjes sitting down with HEAVY to discuss the new single and their upcoming sophomore EP Somewhere in a World, Not of the Dream.
“We tried to bring in a lot of our inspirations,” Justin explained, “which is something that we haven’t felt that we’ve done before. You can say that it’s a combination of alternative metal with a bit of everything.”
