Following on quickly from recent single “Banished, Flawed The Docile”, Australian grindcore exponents King Parrot are back with the second single from their upcoming four-track EP, Holed Up In The Lair.
“Nor Is Yours” is another slab of excellence from King Parrot, with the similar thrashy, punked-up feel that runs through most of their music.
You can almost feel the aggression as vocalist Matt Young spits out line after line of unbridled anger, almost challenging you to defy his words.
There is also the (not so) small matter of a gentleman by the name of Phil Anselmo who pops up during “Nor Is Yours” to lend his clout and touch to proceedings.
