Prog Instrumentalist's THE SHAKING SENSATIONS Release – How Are We to Fight The Blight? Today

Copenhagen-based instrumental post-rock powerhouse The Shaking Sensations unleash their new album ‘How Are We to Fight The Blight?’ today!

The band comment: How Are We to Fight The Blight? Is a record that has big emotional and personal importance to us. On many levels it’s a deeply personal piece of work, for us as band members and individual human beings. Two years ago, none of us would have expected that we’d ever release new music again – at least not as a band or in this constellation. Things suddenly went fast, and here we are. Today, October 4, is exactly one year ago since we entered the studio in northern Copenhagen and began recording the album.

Check out their EPIC 56 minute first glance at the new album with the song “Tremendous Efforts” below:

https://youtu.be/Z7f1x8P7l2IYears have gone by since our latest release and the world has changed a lot in this period. This record is equal part our reflections upon the current state of the planet that we live on as a collective, and our own personal ways of adapting to it and dealing with it as individuals. This record can be described as a reaction provoked by a series of events that questions our existence, but also a testament to not give up hope and act upon it. It has never felt better and more important for us to create music, than this exact moment.
