Seven years ago Stigmata Promotions started something special for Australian HEAVY Music. A festival dedicated to local talent. Over the years this festival has seen some of Australia’s best local bands take the stage, including: Lord, Earth, The Levitation Hex, Cruciform, Laceration Mantra, Killrazor, Mhorgl, and The Veil.
Stigmata Promotions continue to expand, and this year, Under the Southern Cross has moved from the traditional Australia Day weekend setting, to the ANZAC Day period and welcomes bands from New Zealand to share the banner, both in Australia and New Zealand. This makes it a truly unique Festival of metal and the title of Under the Southern Cross even more appropriate.
This yeas line up features three great New Zealand acts, plus a great strong Australian line-up including; Daemon Pyre , Segression, Earth Rot and Order of Chaos.
Darker Half will be heading across the Tasman to invade New Zealand for the 1st time and will be playing all 3 shows.
