While INSANITY ALERT are getting ready to kick off the Persistence Tour 2018 in support of HATEBREED, MADBALL, and many more bands tonight, the Austrian party-thrashers are announcing the re-release of their self-titled debut album on March 23rd, 2018.

INSANITY ALERT are embarking on the Persistence Tour 2018 in support of HATEBREED, MADBALL, TERROR, and many more. The German shows in Berlin, Dresden, and München are already  sold out as well as Tornhout, Belgium. We strongly recommend to buy your tickets early! All shows are listed below.

Thrash has been heavily inspiring young metal bands ever since the 80’s – with a major revival predicted on a yearly basis. Yet when INSANITY ALERT came crashing into this scene like a ten-ton wrecking-ball when their eponymous debut album hit the streets in 2014, something was different. Quite obviously, the Austrians were succeeding outrageously well in bringing the fun back into thrash metal.

Following in the footsteps of SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, D.R.I., and MUNICIPAL WASTE to name a few of their influences, these Alpine mosh-monsters delivered short sharp riff attacks that makes heads bang, necks snap, and diving into the next pit mandatory.

INSANITY ALERT emerged from the Austrian city of Innsbruck in the year 2011. The band’s declared intent: to deliver crushing crossover party thrash.

A tongue-in-cheek concept backed up by strong musical prowess worked out extremely well for INSANITY ALERT as ‘First Diagnosis’ proved in 2012. This demo was welcomed with open arms and the first impression of the public quickly confirmed by ‘Second Opinion’, which came out the year after. In 2014, debut album, ‘Insanity Alert’ delighted critics and fans alike. The wild Tyrolians, always eager to please, next served a juicy ‘Moshburger’ (2016) and started to harvest the rewards of their crazy live shows and quality output.

INSANITY ALERT were invited to perform at prestigious festivals such as Hellfest, Summer Breeze, and Motocultor among many others. They shared stages with some of their favourite acts such as SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, MUNICIPAL WASTE, D.R.I., SODOM, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, and many more. This January, the Austrians will be part of the Persistence Tour alongside such acts as HATEBREED, MADBALL, and TERROR.

INSANITY ALERT are currently writing the follow-up to ‘Moshburger’, which is scheduled to be released on Season of Mist in this year.
