Brewtality Festival Spotlight: Broozer

The Brewtality Festival is on again this year and HEAVY Music Magazine is proud to be a presenting partner. The event will be held on 8 August across two venues; The Tote and The Bendigo Hotel.

We caught up with Retch from Broozer to get an insight into the band, what you can expect from them at Brewtality Festival and more.

What’s your latest release?

Latest release is II, our second full album. It came out in mid June.

How has 2015 started out for your band?

So far the big highlights have been getting album number two out into the world and recording What I See for the Goatsound Black Flag reinterpretation. Also filming the new clip was also a blast (out soon).

Can you give us a few words that would make me come over to your stage and watch your set?

We are easily the most handsome band playing the toughest tech/stoner/metal.

What song is going to be the highlight of your Brewtality set, the one that will really engage with the crowd?

As The Corpse Lumbered To The Floor from II is sick to play and apparently awesome to see and hear, with All She Wanted Was Some Dick, Dawn And A Gram Of Cocaine a close second.

If there was one song in history that you could have written, what would it be and why?

Either I Can’t Go For That by Hall and Oates. One of the most well written songs ever. Seriously. Or Seasons In The Abyss by Slayer.
