South Australia’s heavy music community is gearing up for another massive day of riffs, breakdowns and circle pits, with 618 Fest returning to Lion Arts Factory on Saturday, November 21.
Following a hugely successful debut, the independently run festival is raising the bar with its biggest lineup to date, bringing together some of Australia’s most respected names in hardcore and metal alongside the next generation of local talent.
Topping the bill are Australian hardcore icons Day Of Contempt, joined by Melbourne heavy hitters Ends In Tragedy, Algor Mortis, and Nicholas Cage Fighter, who arrive in Adelaide fresh from their recent Japanese tour.
For longtime followers of the Adelaide scene, this year’s festival also delivers two landmark reunion performances. Through Closed Eyes return for their first show in 15 years, while Bloodsport reunite for the first time in over a decade, bringing two of the city’s most influential hardcore acts back to the stage where they belong.
Completing the lineup are Adelaide’s own Hammer618, Forge, Win Big, and Success, alongside Barriers, featuring members of Cry Murder – highlighting the depth and strength of heavy music across South Australia and Victoria.
Open to all ages, 618 Fest continues its mission of supporting Australia’s grassroots heavy scene while creating a space where longtime fans and newcomers can experience it together.
