Sydney gets down and dirty with some homegrown punk rock music this August, as new grassroots DIY punk festival 3-WAY descends on three venues – Crowbar, Jura Books and Gifts of Mercy in Sydney’s inner west – on Saturday, August 15.
The brainchild of three mates who thought outside the box a little to bring together three neighbouring venues, 3-WAY combines a stack of incredible local bands, artists and community organisations for a full-day, all-ages celebration of DIY punk music.
It’s an entry-by-donation charity event, with proceeds supporting the bands and local community initiatives, while creating an accessible event where people can discover new bands, independent spaces, and the broader DIY/punk scene.
