At just 13 years old, Seattle-based guitarist Vox Realis is already making serious noise in the global guitar and metal world. His single, Overkill, out today, features an elite line-up of collaborators: produced by Adair Daufembach (Angra, Megadeth, Kiko Loureiro), with Felipe Andreoli (Angra) on bass, Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth) on drums, and Vox himself on guitar.
Despite his age, Vox’s playing channels the technical precision and fire of his heroes such as Marty Friedman, Joe Satriani, and Dimebag Darrell, while forging a sound that’s entirely his own.
“Overkill is more than just a debut—it’s a statement,” says producer Adair Daufembach. “Vox Realis is the rare kind of player who combines feel, speed, and purpose. He’s not just talented for his age—he’s talented, period.”
