Review by Steven Jenkins

It’s been 10 years now since Metalcore titans The Devil Wears Prada formed and in that span of time they’ve released five studio albums and now their third EP, which is titled Space.

Like the name suggests it is indeed a space themed EP with lyrics that will make you think and terrify you at the same time. Musically, TDWP are relentless and heavier than ever, whilst also creating an atmosphere, which suits the EP perfectly. With a catalogue of solid full-length albums, I’ve always felt that their shorts EP releases have been more special and interesting.

Space is no different, with standout tracks Alien and Supernova giving out that energy that has made this band what they are today. One thing that makes this EP so strong is that the sound and theme of space is much easier to capture. Their 2010 concept creation Zombie EP was well received and praised, but in this current time Space will fit in just fine given this style of music.

Another solid release which will keep TDWP relevant and their fans satisfied.
